Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada Position Statement on physical exercises
Research has shown that no physical exercise can lead to heart disease, stroke and other health issues.
The public and government may have some concerns towards lacking physical activities can lead to heart disease, heart attacks and other health issues. To be more specific, having a quality of life has been an effort of many people. Yet many people think that physical activity is not something necessary until they fall sick. When the citizens are sick, the socio-economics of the country will be affected.
Exercising just 10 minutes per day is enough for adults to stay healthy and everyone can help to make that happen.
- Adults who have families with small kids can exercise by doing the household chores together, or doing some simple exercise more by having more supportive programs that promote physical activities. Things like in-house gyms or gym memberships can be great to engage the employees in exercising instead of sitting through the day.
- Government can establish a more comprehensive pan-Canadian physical activity plan to promote physical activity. Another way is to renew the Recreational Infrastructure Canada Fund to ensure continued investment in public facilities.
In summary: Doing physical activity is necessary and crucial not only for people to have a healthy and balanced lifestyle, but it also helps the development of a country. Exercising is not hard to follow and anyone can make it happen.
